Feb 9, 2008 - There's no contest here. Miss Venezuela was way too far from the rest of contestants. Her catwalk was the best and her whole presence on stage is just wow. A great body and very beautiful face. Only Australia and SouthAfrica challenge her a little bit in the face department though. I can't get why Miss Namibia, clearly behind than these girls went on to win Miss Universe later on, winning over the reining Miss Venezuela much prettier than Ninibeth Leal.

Oct 2, 2008 - Why did Namibia win Miss Universe? Well, a lot of things helped- two of them were because Venezuela (from Miss Universe 1992)fell behind in Top 6 question- she scored below Colombia after Namibia and India rocked their questions. And two, India blew her final question and that was the end for her. Overall, Namibia is elegant, tall, and well-spoken. She improved a lot when she went to Miss Universe. And that allowed her to take it all.
